The church was built in the last quarter of the 13th century and rebuilt in 1581. Rebuilt again in 1881 when a tower was added. A porch and mausoleum were added in the 1600s and 1700s. The main altar is from around 1520 with the Madonna & Child, Saints Nicholas and Margaret.
