The church, dedicated to St Nicholas of Myra, was originally built around 1150. The two long nave walls and the west gable remain from that time. The church was enlarged in the early 1400s with a choir, sacristy and tower; the porch added around 1500. The church belongs to the Vigersted-Kværkeby parish.
