Sv. Nikola is one of the smallest Adriatic lighthouses on the largest Dalmation island, Brac. Built in 1882, the complex has the square lighthouse with a small turret and a small lighthouse keeper's flat. The courtyard has a small chapel and there have been plans to place a statue of St. Nicholas at the promontory below the lighthouse. A lighthouse keeper was on duty into the 1980s until the light was automated. It still operates and is the only guide to mark the safe refuge for yachts and ships. The chapel
