The spring is near the Church of St. Nicholai that is built over the source. It was declared a hydrological natural monument of local importance. It is believed to be a healing spring that heals many ailments. The font was built over the spring in 2005. Many pilgrims and travelers come to the spring, hoping for cure of disease.
