Church Website
The church was destroyed in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. After eleven years, the new church, designed by Santiago Calatrava, was consecrated on July 4, 2022. It is built of pentelic marble and inspired by the Church of Hagia Sophia and the Church of Our Savior in Chora, Istanbul. The iconography is by Father Loukas from the Monastery of Xenophontos, Mount Athos.
