From The Golden Legend of master William Caxton done anew. William Morris, poet, designer, writer, and artist, reprinted The Golden Legend at his Kelmscott Press in 1892. Morris designed the type face and decoration for the book. In 1483 William Caxton had Englished the original 1275 Latin text by Jacobus de Voragine, Archbishop of Genoa.
