Let us pray:

May we, aided by the prayers of St Nicholas,
be strengthened on our earthly pilgrimage to live and work
for the praise and glory of God,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
and in our service to his people and his whole creation.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord,
Who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit,
One God from Age unto Age. Amen.
