Sint-Nicolaas op bezoek:

St. Nicholas Visits ~ Museum Catharijneconvent

Here is just a glimpse of the spectacular exhibit at Museum Catharijneconvent, Utrecht, the Netherlands, October 2, 2009 until January 3, 2010. Every aspect of St. Nicholas' devotion celebration was shown—from frivolous to sublime. Classic traditional Christian icons, paintings and statues to children's drawings, costumes, books, toys, and food, were all included. With something for everyone, visitors would come away with a deepened understanding of Saint Nicholas, or Sinterklaas, as popularly known in the Netherlands.
