Saint Nicholas Stockings
"Love God and one another."
That is what Jesus told people in what he said and what he did. His followers want to obey.

Hundreds of years ago, a Christian named Nicholas showed his love and care for one poor family by giving them gifts of money. He didn't want thanks or a big fuss, so he gave the money secretly, by throwing it through a window!
Some Christians celebrate the feast of Saint Nicholas on his special day—6 December—by giving secret gifts then. Others celebrate the giving of secret gifts on Christmas night.
Some people hang up a stocking like this, hoping that Santa Claus—or some secret gift bringer—will fill it with good things!
What gifts would you like to find in a stocking?
What gifts can you make or buy to give a friend?
