Equipment
Star cookie cutters—I happened to have a set of Fox Run Star Cookie Cutters. It is helpful to have good metal cutters to cut the tortillas. Others metal sets are available from Aetco and Wilton.
Ingredients
10-inch Flour tortillas
Sliced cheese (I used cheddar, provolone, and havarti)
Paprika, optional

Paprika, optional
Directions
Heat the oven to 350°.
Use larger star cookie cutter to cut out stars from flour tortillas (4-5 per 10-inch tortilla).
You may want to cut on a cutting board, press firmly and move back and forth a bit to get a clean cut.
Bake the stars on an ungreased baking sheet for 5-6 minutes.
While baking, use a smaller star cookie cutter to cut out the same number of cheese stars from the sliced cheese.
Put them on top of the baked tortilla stars.

Bake the stars for 2 more minutes, or so, until the cheese melts.
Sprinkle stars with paprika. Cool before serving.
