Activity

Coloring sheet
St. Nicholas Slippers
Suggestion: modify pattern to make a lacing project. Cut both pieces from foam sheets, punch ¼-inch holes for lacing. (I cut the top piece narrower than the pattern.) Lace with thick yarn, decorate with stickers and use scribble paint for children's names. The slippers can be put out on St. Nicholas Eve and filled with chocolate gold coins to surprise the children on December 6th.

Take-home

A bookmark, prayer card, or prayer-card-to-print makes a take-home reminder. Or one of these could also be put in the slipper.
