Isaiah 9:7

Many years before the time of Jesus there lived a man named Isaiah . He lived at a time when there was war and hatred and unhappiness. He told the people that this would not always be the case . He said that God would send someone who as we learned earlier would be called the Prince of Peace. Christmas is a time when we remember that God has seen to it that not everything has gone wrong with this world.

The first Noel the angel did say
Was to certain poor shepherds
In fields as they lay;
In fields where they lay,
Keeping their sheep,
On a cold winter's night
That was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel.

They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the east
Beyond them far,
And to the earth
It gave great light,
And so it continued
