Luke 7:18–20

There was a man named John who was sent by God to help prepare the world for Jesus' coming. John had to be sure that Jesus was the promised Savior. He had to know if this Jesus was real. As we prepare for Christmas we will want to be sure of what is real and what is makebelieve. That's not always easy to do.

Tune: I Am So Glad Each Christmas Eve

When mother trims the Christmas tree
Which fills the room with light,
She tells me of the wondrous Star
That made the dark world bright.

She says the Star is shining still,
And never will grow dim;
And if it shines upon my way,
It leads me up to him.
