Mike and Molly and Baby at Advent
December 19
Luke 2:8–14

There was both noise and quiet that first Christmas. There was the wonderful sound of angels' singing and the stillness of the countryside asleep. Usually there is plenty of noise in our homes around Christmastime. Maybe we should set aside a few minutes each day for quiet. That might help us to better hear the sounds of Christmas.
Tune: Angels From the Realms of Glory
Angels, from the realms of glory,
Wing your flight o'er all the earth;
Ye, who sang creation's story,
Now proclaim Messiah's birth:
Come and worship, come and worship,
Worship Christ, the new-born King.
Shepherds, in the fields abiding,
Watching o'er your flocks by night,
God with man is now residing,
Yonder shines the infant light:
Come and worship, come and worship,
Worship Christ, the new-born King.
