Galatians 4:4–5

A person can get tired just waiting. God took a long time to prepare the world for Christmas. Maybe you, like Mike and Molly and Baby, are tired just from waiting for Christmas to come. Sleep well tonight. Dream nice dreams. Christmas is almost here.

The cattle are lowing,
the poor baby wakes,
But little Lord Jesus
no crying he makes.
I love thee, Lord Jesus,
look down from the sky,
And stay by my cradle
to watch lullaby.

Be near me, Lord Jesus;
I ask thee to stay
Close by me for ever,
and love me, I pray.
Bless all the dear children
in thy tender care,
And fit us for heaven,
to live with thee there.
