Pom Pom St. Nicholas
Make a cute little St. Nicholas to sit next to an Advent wreath, or on a windowsill. He needs to be made in stages so the glue can dry: first for the base, then the head, and last the miter.
Materials
- 3-inch red pom pom for body
- 1 ¾-inch wood ball for head
- Red felt 7 x 4 inch piece for miter
- Cotton or polyfill for beard

Cross sticker or gold paper

3-inch piece poster board or stiff cardstock for base
Equipment
- Scissors

Black marker

Glue
-
1/4-inch punch for nose
Directions
- Print pattern

Cut out 2-inch poster board circle for base

Cut out felt miter

Glue pom pom to base so it will stand up

Glue tab inside miter back

After glue is dry, glue wooden head to pom pom

Put cross sticker on miter or make cross from gold paper

Secure miter on head with glue inside the back of the miter at the bottom center

Make beard from cotton or polyfill, glue in place when miter is dry

Punch out a red nose from felt or shiny paper, glue on

Make eyes with black marker
