St. Nicholas Tootsie Pops
Turn Tootsie Roll Pops into fun St. Nicholas figures. Tootsie Roll Pops work well because they are round and have a wide flat band, unlike other lollipops. Make Saint Nicholas as either a Western or Eastern bishop, or both, using our PDFs.
Materials
- Tootsie Pops or other round lollipops
- Cover or card stock, use bright white for best results
- Chenille or metallic stems for croziers
Equipment
- Color printer
- Scissors
- Glue stick, glue dots, or thick craft glue
Directions
- Print PDF on cover or card stock;
- Cut out red bases, fold in half, glue insides together;
- Cut out faces along dotted lines;
- Cut on heavy black line around beard;
- Fold along right side of miter;
- Trim around the top and left side of miter;
- For gold Eastern Nicholas, trim out right side section between beard and miter, being careful not to cut the right folded edge of miter;
- Spread glue inside miter; stick halves together over Tootsie Pop stick;
- Glue Pop to base;
- Bend chenille stem piece to desired shape, glue to Pop.
