Nessebar

The statue standing at the harbor of South Nessebar Bay, is frequently and popularly identified as St. Nicolas, patron saint of sailors. However, the artist Stavri Kalinov sees it as a new “Noah” holding a dove, looking for a new land. As E. A. Bucchianeri said, “Art is in the eye of the beholder, and everyone will have their own interpretation.”
