The fountain with San Nicolás stands in the Plaza of the Children. It was installed in 2012. San Nicolás de Bari is the protector and defender of the town; the patron saint. The sign says "Solidarity; Love for Children; Kindness; Justice." Before Christmas the fountain is joined by a Christmas tree and it is the site for collecting gifts for children whose families lack resources.
